Oak & Eau Publishing exists for the quiet distance that shows up between parents and their grown children.
The love rarely leaves. What goes missing is a way across. We make the books that help families find it, one steady step at a time.

Everything else out there focuses on the grown child. This one turns toward you, because your steadiness is what changes the whole room.

A year from now, you will feel it. More steady. Less at the mercy of how the last conversation went. The guilt you have carried, the kind you were never meant to hold this long, has loosened. The way you show up for your child has changed. That is what this year gives you.

A note from the founder

As a nurse, I sat with people at the very beginning of the parent and child bond, and years later at the other end of it. Underneath nearly every story was the same ache: a love that never left, and a distance nobody knew how to cross. I could not unhear it. So I built the path I kept wishing I could hand them.
